There are moments you don't forget about your wedding day.
Like remembering scarfing down a Denny's Grand Slam out of the styrofoam box while getting your pedicure did.
Like ordering your mom (who was sick with food poisoning and even missed the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner) a $10 smoothie from room service, but she was too sick to drink it.
Like realizing instead of crying at the altar, like you always thought you would, you have a captive audience and start acting a little too animated.
Like crawling like a cat on the dance floor in your wedding dress during the dance off.
And of course, marrying your sweetie, best buddy, partner in moves and other adventures and the now father of our child.
Love you Brendan!
And here's some more of our best project to date (and some other stuff too):
My poor darling has a horrible case of baby acne..but also a really cute milky pout.
My new dinner stance..
My MIL came for a week to help out
she's a really great cook..
I love random kitchen pictures like this, but I can't ever photograph them right..oh well, you get the idea.
Finally, thanks to Grandpa Keith, Brixton's already had his first experience being photoshopped into odd situations:
Grandpa Keith is an avid Harley rider. I guess there's nothing cuter than a baby with a skull cap and a black leather fringe bag riding a motorcycle.
With that visual in mind, how 'bout a vote?
Have a great weekend!

He's a cutie :) Sorry to hear about the baby acne...somehow I never knew that existed! How long does it last for?
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd picture from the top- he looks sooooo much like Brendan! And i love the pic of you and Brix outside...you look beautiful! and he is so precious sleeping there with you :) And the pic that says "one of my favorite faces", was brendan burping him? it's funny cause that was always my fav when we burped porter like that (we have graduated to over the shoulder now...) but whenever jeremy would hold him like that to burp him I would crack up because he made the funniest/cutest faces in that position, haha.
Anyways, hope you're all doing well! <3
You have such a cute little fella. I love the photo of him all snuggled up with the knit cap. Happy anniversary as well!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary K&B! Love the pics and love the the tree and birdie blanket! xo, Yvonne
ReplyDeleteBrixton keeps getting cuter and cuter! I am definitely letting Joe know that his passed on Hot Dog Johnny's t-shirt made it into your posted pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteoh, he looks so sweet!!! love the picture of you and him outside. just beautiful. enjoy all of those chill blanket days. they go by way too fast.
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend!
Joan~I guess it can go for a few months..it's caused by the maternal hormones during the last few weeks of pregnancy. In other words, it's all my fault!! :-(
ReplyDeleteRobyn~The Hot Dog Johnny's shirt is a real fixture in Brendan's wardrobe!
Thanks everyone for the well wishes!
He is so sweet! I love the milk coma, most precious thing ever! My youngest got the good ole' hormonal acne, too. Our pedi just recommended laying off the soaps and lotions and be patient, nature takes its course and it goes away really quickly. Such a beautiful family you have!
ReplyDeleteThe "acne" is actually probably overheating. My best friend's daughter had this as a baby, and once she loosened up on the layers, her baby's skin cleared right up! Also use very gentle non-fragrance remedies. This is most likely a heat rash. Hope that helps! (:
